But the market is also bursting with cultural events all week and around the clock: Concerts, dance, spontaneous performances in the street, revue, good food and drink, high spirits at the restaurants, life in the courtyards, storytelling, carnival and horse and sleigh rides.  \nFarmers and load carriers come by horse and sleigh from Sweden, Østerdalen, Hedmark, Gudbrandsdalen, Gauldal, Selbu, and Tydal. They lodge in travel yards in the center.
