Join us on an eventful journey through some of the most beautiful scenery Northern Norway has to offer. On this 5-day trip, we will experience majestic mountains, beautiful coastal landscapes, idyllic island communities, and exciting cultural history \u2013 all at a comfortable pace and with pleasant travel companions. <\/p>\n
The trip starts with departure from St\u00f8ren and Trondheim before we head north. Along the way, we’ll enjoy a stop at Heia Gjesteg\u00e5rd before continuing to Sandnessj\u00f8en, where we will stay for the first two nights. <\/p>\n
One of the highlights of the trip is the excursion to beautiful D\u00f8nna. Here, we will experience the distinctive Helgeland landscape with its sea, mountains, and small local communities. After lunch at the pleasant 3 Kalver, the journey continues to S\u00f8vik and the impressive Petter Dass Museum, where we will receive a guided tour and insight into the history of one of Norway’s most famous poet-priests. <\/p>\n
Next, we travel to the unique Vega Archipelago, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, we will experience beautiful nature, vibrant coastal culture, and the special history of the interaction between humans and nature that has shaped the area for generations. We will enjoy lunch at Vega Havhotell before the trip continues to Br\u00f8nn\u00f8ysund. <\/p>\n
No trip to Helgeland is complete without a visit to the iconic Torghatten. The mountain with the spectacular hole through it is one of Norway’s most famous natural phenomena, offering great nature experiences and fantastic views. In the evening, we will visit the atmospheric Hildurs Urterarium, where we will be served dinner and learn more about the popular herb garden. <\/p>\n
On the return journey, we follow beautiful roads south through Namdalen with a stop for a pleasant meal in Namsos before returning to Trondheim and St\u00f8ren with many fond memories.<\/p>\n
