Oda from the Sea July 4, 2026 – Evening Performance

Experience coastal culture where stories come alive.
On this trip, we take you to Mausundvær to see the play Oda from the Sea – a performance that touches and engages.
Before the play, we gather for a shared meal in maritime surroundings. The evening performance offers a magical atmosphere in addition to a fantastic show.

Round-trip transportation, tickets, and food are included – all you need to do is join us.

A musical theater piece written by Marte Hallem from Verdal, based on the trilogy “Folket i spåhålet” – by Mausund author Vidar Orskarson

1:57 PM – Orkanger bus station

Approx. 4:50 PM – Arrival Mausundvær

The bus returns from Mausundvær along the same route as on the way to Mausundvær. This is after the meal.

“A play that takes you out to the coast of Trøndelag. A small coastal community that experiences for the first time a young girl wanting to become a fisher. Superstition, tradition, and a coastal community where men were the sole rulers on board the boat were some of the challenges Oda had to contend with. Come to Mausund, lean back in the amphitheater down by the quay, and join a play that brings forth laughter and tears. The moments will captivate you and ensure you walk out into the summer night by the sea with a wonderful experience.”
